The Bush Blaster, 2017
Inspired by the zeitgeist of ‘speculative design,’ The Bush Blaster was created in response to the the current global honeybee crisis. Made intentionally in bad taste, the satirical strap-on pollination cannon was made to reframe the proclivity of certain kinds of humans to try and replace ‘nature’ with engineered and ‘innovative’ solutions.
The Bush Blaster was commissioned by Science Gallery Dublin for their exhibition In Case Of Emergency.
