The Mobile Institute for Anarcho-Communalist History and Social Transformation is a mobile exhibition space for the history of Anarcho-Communalism and a transformative apitherapy house. The project draws upon the social behavior of honeybees as described in Dr. Tom Seeley’s Honeybee Democracy in relation to the often under considered history of Anarcho-Communalism. The structure is based on vernacular Beehouse architecture, and features small exhibitions of Anarcho-Syndicalist ephemera in combination with the apitherapy technique of napping with bees. The mission of The Mobile Institute for Eco-Anarcho-Communalist History and Healing is to provide a space to recover from the grand narrative of Capitalism and to offer visitors a space to learn how to live harmoniously and cooperatively within a larger ecology in nature.
